FAQ > What are your payment terms?
The payment terms at Classic Kitchens Direct are quite simple:
1. Booking a slot
If you have seen the product, have a rough idea of the cabinets you need and a rough idea of price and are happy. You can book a delivery slot for £500.
This means you then have some time to mull over the final design and order before you submit the full final order.
We request in normal circumstances that we have the final details than 6 weeks before delivery. This gives us 6 clear weeks to build your kitchen.
We take a £500 Non refundable* payment to secure this slot, and will then take £500 off your kitchen cost to reflect this when fully received.
*If you can give us 8 weeks notice any any cancellations we will refund your £500 delivery slot payment, after this time we are then too late to refil that slot so the deposit will not be repaid.
By purchasing a delivery slot we assume you are fully aware of this and accept this.
*If you do not go ahead with your order or wish to cancel we will not refund this unless it meets the 8 weeks guide above
2. We ask for a 50% deposit.
Why such a large deposit? The cabinets and furnishings we make for your kitchen are often bespoke. They are handcrafted in our workshop using the material combinations, sizes, finishing’s and colourings that you request. This means that our items are problematic to re-sell if you were to decide not to continue with the purchase for any reason. Over the years we have seen that it is highly unlikely we’ll find customers wanting the exact same factors in their kitchen furniture and we do not have the capacity to store them just in case.
For deposits we accept cheques, bank transfers and cards. Any charges for paying using a card will result in them being added to the final tally.
3. The other 50% is payable before delivery.
Once the deposit has been cleared, we’ll begin work on producing your bespoke kitchen furniture to the time scale agreed previously. If there are any setbacks or delays we will let you know as soon as possible, so we can amend the times. Changes will not change the terms of payment.
If payment is not made prior to delivery we will be unable to deliver the items to your house. If payment has not been made and delivery has to be rearranged we may have to charge for this.
Bank transfers are possible. Please contact us on 01202481177, by email email@example.com or in person in order to learn more about how you can make a bank transfer for either the deposit or for the second 50% prior to delivery. By giving us your details, we will be able to track the payment and ensure everything goes smoothly.
