Wow – What to say about this kitchen and house.
Firstly, it was a real pleasure to work on such a stunning space and help the family that own it make it so amazing.
The story behind this one is that it is a big manor house, and it needed a LOT of work…. The whole house needed gutting back to the bare wall and re doing.
This obviously doesn’t come cheap, and budgets have to be kept in check.
The family that own it had fallen in love with an elegant handmade kitchen design that they had seen in a magazine and had then asked a well know brand to price up for them, the only issue was the price, it was ridiculous……. We often see prices from some of our competitors and just can’t believe that they charge so much for often in our opinion an inferior product.
This is where we came into our own, we are big enough to cope with such a kitchen, but small enough to be able to be more bespoke than any of our competitors.
We drew up designs based on the original plans and agreed the layouts and features with the customers.
After a relatively short period of time we had working plans to allow us to cost everything up for them.
We then worked out costs and came in at just over 70% cheaper that the original quote.
Obviously the clients were amazed and came to see us in our showroom, and were also amazed at the quality that they found here.
Instantly they were sold on us, we then arranged our fitters, worktops and a few appliances for them and kept in contact with the site foreman to make sure timing was right and we slotted into their schedules.
The end results really speak for themselves, it is a stunning kitchen, and even the utility is gorgeous.
The final colour the customers chose was Farrow and Ball Black Blue with White Quartz worktops.
We love it and cant wait for the next one to come along like this.
